The Joanne Trattoria restaurant in New York run by Lady Gaga’s parents has received a scathing one star review in a New York newspaper.
Lady Gaga recently blamed her father's New York City restaurant for her weight gain but reviewer Kaminer was full of complaints about the high price not matching the low quality of the food. Gaga recently told a radio DJ in the US that her parent’s restaurant “is so amazing. ... It's so freaking delicious, but I'm telling you, I gain 5 pounds every time I go in there."
Food critic Michael Kaminer had a different view of the eatery describing the Italian restaurant as 'an incomprehensible imitation of a restaurant.'
Even though Kaminer said he “came with an open mind, despite the fact that most of my colleagues have portrayed Joanne as the worst thing since herpes” the critic was relentless in his review.
He describes the restaurant's calamari as "so sloppily plated that it look[ed] like the kitchen threw it back in the bowl after dropping it."
From the appetisers to the desert nothing escaped criticism and with poor reviews preceding this, maybe the meat-dress wearing singer’s taste buds were numbed by the love of her family.
