The Weeknd has reveald the self-directed video to his track 'Rolling Stone' today, as well as confirming details of the official release of his mixtape trilogy.

Also known as Abel Tesfaye, The Weeknd rose to prominence in 2011 as the Drake-affiliated singer who released three mixtapes of great quality for free on the internet. 'Rolling Stone' is taken from the 'Thursday' mixtape.

The video was directed by Tesfaye himself, though he has also revealed on Twitter that legendary video director Chris Cuningham produced on the video too.

'Trilogy' will comprise all three of The Weeknd's mixtapes (House of Balloons, Thursday, Echoes of Silence) and will be released via Universal on November 12th.
