Who'd have thought it? Beyonce Knowles' sister Solange has made her music comeback with one of the most startlingly brilliant r&b tracks of the year.

'Losing You' is a subtle slice of melancholy r&b, far removed from the glossy pop hits favoured by her older, and more successful sister. The track is produced by Blood Orange aka Lightspeed Champion aka Dev Hynes and has been met with praise from fans and critics alike.

A stunning video shows Solange dancing (badly) on the streets of a run down town band has been watched over 250,000 times on YouTube since being posted two days ago.

Despite previous releases from Solange meeting with critical praise, the singer has yet to experience any commercial success. And while 'Losing You' may be too mature to change matters, it certainly heralds a new era for the star as she make a huge step out of Beyonce's shadow once and for all.

Solange's biggest commercial success in the UK came in 2008 when she scored a No.27 hit with her single, 'I Decided'.
