Despite her tough exterior, X Factor judge and solo star Tulisa has spoken out about the online hatred she receives on social networks - saying the messages are enough to make a grown woman cry.

The 'Live It Up' star, who has enough fans to score her two solo single hits, is a target for online trolls who send offensive messages to the singer. Now, the level of aggression has become so great, she considers herself 'the most hated woman in Britain'.

"People just do it for the sake of it - they will sit down and write the most horrific, abusive messages and they couldn't care less," she says in an interview with The Mirror. "Sometimes they are 12-year-old kids sending these things. I've seen grown women read the messages and it brings tears to their eyes."

Meanwhile she also told The Metro that while she is currently getting on fine with fellow judge Nicole Scherzinger, she can't rule out a falling out at a later date during the X Factor's live shows.

"At this stage of the competition me and Kelly were fine," she told the newspaper. "It was only when we got into the live shows there was friction between us."

"Up until this point, the same point I’m at with Nicole, everything was fine."
