Muse are set to be number one in the official UK album chart this weekend with their new album 'The 2nd Law' confortably outselling the competition.
This means that Mumford & Sons' reign at the top will end after just one week, with their hugely succesful album 'Babel' not able to match the heights of Muse's popularity during its second week on sale.
The Overtones are the only other new entry in the top ten with their new album 'Higher' currently at No.6.
Meanwhile, in the singles chart, One Direction are narrowly ahead of Rihanna in the race for number one with their single 'Live While You're Young' reportedly just hundreds of sales ahead of 'Diamonds'.
Ellie Goulding also looks on course for a top ten single with 'Anything Can Happen' at number four in the midweek update.
