Bloc Party have unveiled the video for their second single 'Kettling' which is taken from their recent number three album 'Four'.
'Kettling' is released November 12th. The video is set in the playground of a primary school in Charlton, and involves a violent game of British Bulldog across the playground, which gradually gets more and more bloody and out of hand.
The song was inspired by the global civil unrest of 2011 says front man Kele, "You couldn’t turn on the television without seeing pictures of people protesting or rioting or mass disarray. Of course those are quite frightening images. But there’s also something quite poetic about people standing up and saying they’ve had enough of something; that no, they will not take this anymore. That’s what the song was really about.”
