Stereophonics are back. The Welsh band has been away for nearly 2 years and return with new track ‘Violins and Tambourines.’ See the new video below.

Kelly Jones and co’s new single marks a return for the band ahead of the release of their 8th studio album.  The band have recently gone through a change in line-up after the departure of drummer Javier Weyler, who has been a member of the band since 2005. Former Noisettes drummer Jamie Morrison now takes over the sticks.

The accompanying video for the songs sees lead singer Kelly Jones step behind the camera as he directs an interesting video. Speaking about the new song ‘Violins and Tambourines’ Jones explained:

“I’ve loved film and music ever since I was a kid.  When I first started writing songs I realised they could paint pictures in your mind, which inevitably leads to telling stories.  I’ve always wanted to combine them both.  Directing for the first time with a fantastic crew and cast was a great experience.”
