Example has shared his opinions on the recent TV feud between new American Idol judges Nicki Minaj and Mariah Carey - and the UK rapper is most definitely siding with Mariah on this one.
The 'Won't Go Quietly' rapper has spoken previously of his dislike for Minaj, but following the recently leaked video, which showed Minaj launching into a massive rant at her fellow talent show star, he has once again spoken out. Example now claims that Minaj has no right to talk down to the multi-million selling diva as she simply does not have the star status.
"I’ve met Minaj. I’m not a fan. I don’t think you can be that much of a diva unless you’ve had loads of massive tunes," Example is quoted as saying by The Sun newspaper. "In ten years, people are going to be struggling to remember anything Minaj has done except her verse on Monster."
Example initially spoke of his dislike for Minaj back in 2011, telling Bangshowbiz that her debut album was 'f**king g**h'.
"I really don't like her and I'm not a fan of her album," he told the celebrity gossip website. "I don't like these people who are hyped up and then their stuff is f**king g*sh."
"The only respect I have for her is that she's a woman who's done well for herself in the rap industry, so fair play to her for that," he added.
Example was recently forced to cancel a string of live UK dates due to a foot injury.
