US country star Taylor Swift has premiered her new single 'I Knew You Were Trouble' - taking a brave leap into dubstep territory on her latest release.

'I Knew You Were Trouble' is the star's third single from her upcoming album Red and follows hits 'We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together' and 'Begin Again'. The chorus of the track features a dubstep wobble behind the saccharine vocals of the American singer.

New album Red is set for release on 22 October 2012, and following huge US success with previous album releases Taylor Swift, Fearless and Speak Now, the singer is sure to sell thousands of copies on release.

Some sources have questioned Swift's move into more commercial territory however, suggesting that her new experiment with dubstep could alienate fans of the singer's traditional country sounds.
