Rylan Clark, one of X Factor's most flamboyant ever contestants, has revealed he is out to impress grumpy talent show show Gary Barlow after the Take That star labelled the Essex singer as 'embarrassing' following his performance on last week's live final.
Rylan narrowly escaped this week’s elimination after being in the bottom two on Sunday night's X Factor, which caused friction between him and judge Gary Barlow.
Since, there has been some angst between the pair, but Rylan has now admitted that he wants to end their fued. Barlow was enraged when Rylan stayed over his contestant Carolynne, resulting in him storming off the stage on Sunday's live show.
Barlow has since said how "embarrassed" he was while watching Clark's performance of Spandau Ballet's hit 'Gold', see his performance below.
The controversial contestant Rylan has recently told the official X Factor website, "I have absolute respect for Gary as a mentor and as a musician. I really want to win him over - I don't want there to be a war between us."
"I reckon by the end of the series we'll be bessie mates – move over Robbie, I am taking your place!"
Rylan was recently pictured in Heat Magazine with a fake tattoo of Barlow's face on his back,"I figured I may as well get it done seeing as Gary is always on my back!" To see the picture click here.
