Rival X Factor judges Gary Barlow and Louis Walsh are yet to patch up their differences after a decision by Walsh on last weekend's show resulted in Gary Barlow losing an act in week one of the show's live finals.
In an explosive first live sing-off, Barlow lost the first of his artists - country and western singer Carolynne Poole - when Walsh opted to send the vote to deadlock. Rival contestant Rylan Clark received more vote than Poole and remained in the competition while Barlow's contestant was eliminated.
Barlow has made no attempt to hide his dislike for the flamboyant Clarke (mentored by former Pussycat Doll Nicole Scherzinger) and tensions are said to be high ahead of this weekend's shows.
"Gary was sucking his teeth and ignoring Louis all afternoon," says a source to The Sun newspaper.
"It’s proper pantomime but Louis is just laughing it all off. He’s heard it all before."

Earlier this week Rylan Clarke revealed that he was going all out this weekend to impress Gary, who has previously called the Essex singer's performances 'embarrassing'.
Clark has recently told the official X Factor website, "I have absolute respect for Gary as a mentor and as a musician. I really want to win him over - I don't want there to be a war between us."
"I reckon by the end of the series we'll be bessie mates – move over Robbie, I am taking your place!"
