13 October, 2012: London's Bloc Party performed last night in Leeds for a very special show. The 'Kettling' band's second gig on their current UK tour also happened to be frontman Kele Okereke's 31st birthday.
The audience at the gig hadn't missed the occasion, and took the opportunity to remind Kele at every opportunity - singing 'Happy Birthday' to the indie star at every opportunity.
The band performed tracks from their recent album Four along with earlier hits including 'Helicopter', 'Banquet', 'The Prayer' and 'One More Chance'. The band closed their show (after two encores) with their 2007 hit 'Flux' - mixed with Rihanna's 'We Found Love'.
Bloc Party continue their UK tour tonight at Glasgow's O2 Academy before shows throughout next week in Birmingham, Southampton, Bristol, Manchester and Cambridge - ending their tour on 20 October, 2012.
The band will also perform the biggest gig of their tour in earlier 2013, when they headline Earls Court on 22 February, 2012. The full set list from the band's Leeds Academy gig is below.
