Blur have announced that their show at Hyde Park to mark the closing of the London 2012 Olympic Games is being made available on a 5-disc CD/DVD set. The set is to be titled Parklive - and yes, we see what you did there, Blur.

The band have released a trailer for the CD/DVD with the words "All the people, so many people" appearing. The release will give fans who couldn't make the concert - and actually some who were at the concert - the chance to listen to the band.

The show was slammed by fans who thought the sound levels were wrong, with gig goers complaining that it was too quiet. Although many did enjoy the show, the overriding issue was that of the sound quality.

Blur at Hyde Park 2012: hopefully this time we'll be able to hear them.

That being said, the Parklive CD/DVD set offers fans a real treat with the deluxe edition containing the entire Hyde Park show, exclusive recordings of the 100 Club, BBC sessions, plus the live rooftop performance of Under the Westway and The Puritan.

And to top it off, this will all be presented in a 60 page hardback photo book.

The whole package will be available from Blur.co.uk from December 3rd.
