Tickets for The Rolling Stones two huge shows at London's O2 are on sale now. Full details below.

The band confirmed two performances at the venue, along with a second pair of shows in the US, earlier this week - after weeks of rumours and untimely leaks from the band and their touring musicians. The band perform at The O2 on 25 and 29 November, before crossing the pond to play at the Prudential Center, Newark, near New York, on December 13th and 15th. A setlist was recently seen online - seemingly revealing a hit-packed set planned by the rock icons.

The band made the announcement with an official video statement from the legendary rockers, who revealed their choices to play London and Newark because they are "cities that know how to rock'n'roll'." The video shows the four members in Paris talking about their return saying "You must have guessed this was coming... Surely you didn't think we weren't gonna do this?!"

Talking about the gigs, Mick Jagger commented, “Everybody loves a celebration, and London and New York are two good places to do it in!”

Keith Richards added, ”Sorry to keep you all hanging around but the waiting is over. I've always said the best place for rock and roll is on the stage and the same is true for the Stones. I'm here with Mick, Charlie and Ronnie and everything is rocking. See you very soon!"

Many fans were outraged when prices for the tickets were announced however, when it was revealed that even the cheapest seats would cost over £100.

"Seems @RollingStones to only play live to multi-millionaire fans ! Not cricket Mick! #justsaying," tweeted fan @brucerisk, while another fan called the legendary rockers the 'greediest band in the world'.

"Rolling Stones: World's Greediest Band. £406 *upstairs* at the O2 Arena. Mind, given what they look like now upstairs may be the best view," commented @Tiwy.

Despite the high prices, some fans spoke of their determination to see the rockers nonetheless.

"ROLLING STONES IN LONDON! Most expensive tickets ever sold! I DON'T CARE," tweeted an excited @JoshMarkJohnson.
