Live Nation has walked away from their deal with Hyde Park, according to reports.
Over the last ten years the organisation has staged music events including Live 8, Wireless Festival, and Hard Rock Calling at the central London Park.
The largest live music company on the planet has cited issues including noise restrictions and curfews as the reason for the split, claims The Guardian newspaper.
They have described the process that took place when trying to agree a new five-year contract as "flawed".
The London 2012 Olympics were the catalyst for 25 days' worth of events put on by Live nation at Hyde Park this summer, but some were not without well-documented problems.
There were mass complaints about the quality of sound at Hyde Park's concert to mark the end of the games - a gig that featured acts including Blur, New Order, and The Specials.
It is reported Live Nation have written a formal letter of complaint that highlights problems with crowd safety considerations and unrealistic revenue assumptions.
The letter has been forwarded to the RPA (Royal Parks Agency), which is part of the Department for Culture Media and Sport.
It is understood the letter is highly critical of the RPA, stating they neglected the 'complex logistics and costs of running big events in such a central location'.
In July, this year's Hard Rock Calling event was marred by strict curfew issues after Bruce Springsteen and Paul McCartney had their microphones turned off mid-way through a duet.
Live Nation, who also own events giant, Ticketmaster, had a proposed deal for a further contract with Hyde Park until the start of 2013.
Both Live Nation and the RPA have yet to respond to The Guardian's reports at this stage.
