Of Monsters And Men's frontwoman Nanna Bryndís Hilmarsdóttir has revealed that work is due to begin on the band's second album 'very soon' - possibly in the next few weeks.
Currently taking some time off in Iceland after a busy year of touring Europe and the UK, the singer and songwriter has revealed that ideas are starting to form for a second album - but the band are yet to meet and rehearse or fully work on new tracks.
However, she hints that work may begin during their current break from touring.
"It's happenening slowly now. Immediately when we get back home we fall into our own routine and definitely for writing," Nanna tells Gigwise. "Ideas have been coming but we haven't met or rehearsed and brought them to life, but things are definitely happening."

The 'Little Talks' singer also reveals that the follow-up to their No.3 album is likely to be much less influenced by myths and magic - having spent the past few years on the road.
"My Head Is Animal sounds the way it sounds because of the mindset we were in at the time," she adds. "I think that the next album will definitely be inspired by what we've seen and what we've felt and been doing. Someone said that you bring ideas in your travelling backpack and then you get home you just open it up.
"When we made the first album we were stuck in this place where nothing ever happens. Iceland is very calm. Things just move on their own pace. Then you get out there and everything is moving so fast and everything has to happen so fast.
"It's a very different world to the one we're used to."
