Robbie Williams has spoken openly about his drink and sex issues, revealing that he is glad to now be sober, saying he believes he would cheat on wife Ayda Field if he was still drinking.
Robbie didn't hold back in a new interview with The Metro, speaking out about how hard he finds it not to cheat on his wife. The ex-Take That star said that staying sober definitely helps, adding that he feels as though he should be given some sort of reward for staying faithful.
He admitted, "It's a hundred times easier when you don't drink, and I don't drink.
"If I drank, we'd literally be f**ked. If I drank, I could not keep it in my trousers at all."
Robbie went on to explain. "You know like on anniversaries women expect you to get them flowers and things? I think every f**king night you haven't stuck your c**k in someone else, you should be given a gold ring.
"I haven't missed playing around, but I'm still a guy. This will be an on-going project. Feels unnatural, you know, but so far so good."
We're sure that his wife, Ayda Field, will be pleased to hear that.
Robbie Williams: hasn't cheated on his wife. Yet.
Robbie also struck out at The X Factor - which could be awkward, seeing as ex-bandmate Gary Barlow is a judge and mentor on the show, not to mention that Robbie himself appeared with Gary on the judges' house round.
However, Robbie isn't a fan of the singing reality TV show, saying: "Somebody will come on and do an audition and sing their arse off, but they can't project and they're boring and they'll go nowhere.
"I don't think it's important to be that good at singing. I think people who are good at singing sing backing vocals for pop stars. It's about how you project. I wouldn't consider myself to be a singer."
He finished with a swipe at current boyband, One Direction, comparing their interaction to his own troubled relationship with Gary Barlow during their Take That days.
Despite One Direction claiming that they're all best friends, Robbie insisted: "I'm sure that in One Direction right now, there's going to be hatred between certain members for certain things, all young and daft stuff."
