Cee Lo Green has unveiled his Christmas collaboration with The Muppets. Listen to the track below.

After Disney confirmed the collaboration earlier this month, the song will be part Cee Lo's full-length Christmas LP 'Ce Lo's Magic Moment'.

It is an original track but uses an extract from 'Mahna Mahna' - a novelty hit that was often used in The Muppets Show.

The release features cameos from some of the long-running series' most loved characters, including Kermit, Miss Piggy, Gonzo, and Animal.

Although Green takes centre stage in terms of delivering the lead vocal performance, the track is littered with 'wise-cracking' interjections from the characters.

The song was recorded earlier this month, and will also be aired during a 'Cee Lo and Friends' Christmas special that will be shown on Warner Brothers' youtube on November 26.

And strangely enough this isn't the first time that Cee Lo has worked with Kermit and co.

At the 2011 Grammy awards Green slightly bizarrely performed the clean version of his hit 'F**k You' with The Muppets, and actress, Gwyneth Paltrow.

The single was also used in the 2011 Muppets movie, where it was covered by Camilla and the Chickens.

Other artists that are set to feature on the christmas album include Scottish pop-veteran, Rod Stewart, rapper, B.O.B, and Christina Aguilera.

'Cee Lo's Magic moment' gets its full US release on October 30. Listen to his Muppets collaboration below.
