X Factor contestant Lucy Spraggan will not perform on tonight's X Factor show, as she has been struck down with 'severe flu'.
This means the contestant passes automatically to next week's show, avoiding any chance of elimination this weekend.
Ill Lucy was seen earlier this week on the red carpet at the Skyfall premiere and also in London club Mahiki partying with fellow contestants for Rylan Clark's birthday.
On 24 October, Spraggan tweeted: "Soooo excited for @RylanClark's birthday party tonight! I have my costume sorted and I'm ready to rock! #SPRYLAN" but has not posted anything since.
In previous years, contestants Diana Vickers and Janet Devlin have also missed performances due to illness. Last weekend, finalists Jade Ellis and Kye Sones performed despite being unwell.

Spraggan previously experienced diffculties on the show when her grandmother died earlier this month.
Speaking to The Sun about her Grandma, Spraggan said: “My nanny was a great woman and she and grandad were together for more than 50 years so I really want to be around to support him and my family at this time.
“My grandad is an amazingly strong and kind man and they loved each other very much. She’s at peace now and that’s comforting to know.
“She was so proud to see me singing and I’m glad I made her smile. She’ll be greatly missed.”
