Nicole Scherzinger has dismissed suggestions that she has been secretly dating Chris Brown, maintaining that the pair are 'just friends'.
The 'Don't Hold Your Breath' singer dismissed the claims, which began when the the pair were seen talking closely during a night out in September of this year.
Scherzinger, who is in a long-term relationship with Formula 1 driver Lewis Hamilton, spoke of her friendship with Brown in an interview in The Sun newspaper.
"Chris Brown and I are definitely just mates. I have known him since he was younger than 16. We were just talking. Even my mum said, 'I saw a picture of you'," she told the tabloid - referring to photos which appeared to show the pair kissing in the club. "It's the same when Lewis had some random girls sitting in the lobby."
Scherzinger's relationship with Hamilton was rocked earlier this year when he invited guests, including ten girls to party with him at his hotel.

The couple's relationship is far from perfect however, with Scherzinger also telling The Sun: "I wouldn’t wish a long-distance relationship on anyone."
The singer is currently a judge on UK X Factor, where she sits with Tulisa (who apparently smells like fag-ash) and Gary Barlow (who reportedly reeks of red wine).
There is no word on how Louis Walsh or Scherzinger herself smell.
