Green Day have finally revealed the music video for new song 'The Forgotten', which is to feature on the soundtrack for Breaking Dawn Part 2.
The video was released by MTV and shows the band alternately performing the track and looking pensive, along with clips of Edward and Bella from the new movie.
'The Forgotten' clocks in at 5 minutes 15 seconds and joins the rest of the songs on the soundtrack - which is set to be released on 12 November in the UK, and 13 November in the US.
Bassist Mike Dirnt previously told Yahoo! Movies: "When we were asked to be part of the Twilight: Breaking Dawn - Part 2 soundtrack, we readily agreed because the films are an insane cultural phenomenon, and we have always been impressed with the way the Twilight soundtracks are so carefully curated."
Actress Nikki Reed has also recorded a song for the movie's soundtrack.
However, fans of the band will have to wait a long time before they get to hear it live, as Green Day recently cancelled all remaining 2012 tour dates and postponed their 2013 gigs.
New dates for the rescheduled shows will be announced shortly and previously purchased tickets will remain valid for the new dates but all the tickets for the cancelled shows can be refunded from the point of purchase.
The cancellations are due to frontman Billie Joe Armstrong's ongoing time in rehab.
Speaking about the disappointing news bass player Mike Dirnt has said; "Obviously the timing for this isn't ideal, but Billie Joe's well-being is our main concern."
He added, "We are happy to say that Billie Joe is doing well, and we want to thank you all for the outpouring of support and well wishes that we have received, and we can't wait to see you all again soon.”
