Ben Howard has announced details of a new EP to be released this year.
The 'Burgh Island EP' will contain all new material and will be released on Island on 10 December.
It will feature four tracks - 'Esmerelda','Oats In the Water', 'To Be Alone', and 'Burgh Island'.
Howard recorded the EP in his home county of Devon at a remote studio on the Start Point peninsula.
But rather than use the solitude of the recording space to 'do a Bon Iver' and write a stripped back, heartfelt record- 'Burgh Island' takes on a sound that is, in places, more electric.
The EP is said to take on a much darker sound that his full-length debut release, 'Every Kingdom', did not showcase.

The singer-songwriter will release the coleection off the back of a massive sold out tour that sees him touch down in every corner of the UK.
And that's not the only reason it has been a great year for Howard. Tonight his debut album goes up against acts including Plan B, The Maccabees, and Django Django for this year's Mercury Prize.
Paddy Power have, however, rated 'Every Kingdom' as one of the outsiders at 14/1.
Alt-J and their album 'An Awesome Wave' have benn made favourites for the prize with odds of 1/1.
Also fancied are Richard Hawley's 'Standing At the Sky's Edge' at 4/1, Jessie Ware's 'Devotion' at 6/1, and Plan B's 'Ill Manors' also at 6/1.
