Sam Lufti's lawsuit against Britney Spears and her parents has been thrown out of court by a judge.
Britney's former celebrity manager was suing the star and her family for breach of contract, defamation and assault, and had also filed a battery claim against Britney's father, Jamie.
In a Los Angeles courtroom yesterday (1 November), a judge told Britney and her parents that they did nothing wrong and informed Sam that he does not have a case against them.
Sam Lufti had accused Britney of breach of contract, claiming that the two had verbally agreed at the time of her public meltdown that he would represent her for four years.
The battery claim against Jamie was due to accusations that Jamie had hit Lufti in the solar plexus and threatened to kill him in January.

He also accused Lynne Spears of defamation due to comments she had made about him in her 2008 memoir, Through The Storm.
Earlier this week, however, the Spears family had filed legal documents petitioning the judge to dismiss the lawsuit. They stated that Britney had never given her "reciprocal asset" to pay Sam 15 per cent of her income, as he claimed.
They also addressed the battery allegation, as their legal team said that Sam "has not presented clear and convincing evidence that Jamie Spears acted either with intent to injure him."
Sam told US gossip website TMZ that he plans to appeal the judge's decision.
