A Florida rapper has been arrested for allegedly assaulting a couple outside of a Halloween party on Wednesday night (31 October).

Young Juve, son of rapper Juvenile, says that the fight broke out after the male hit his mother and sister and that he was defending his family. 

Video footage has been posted online of the incident, which only shows Young Juve attacking a woman - believed to be the girlfriend of the male who 'disrespected' his family. During the fight, Juvenile is seen trying to restrain his son, and escorts him to an SUV where the two then drive off.

Young Juve posted a tweet after the incident, writing, "Threw a party, Had a fight, Got arrested and Got a Ticket..... My night." It appeared that he later deleted the tweet.

After receiving criticism over his attack on a woman, Young Juve tried to defend himself, writing: "That s**t wasn't even like that n**ga hit my moms and my sister and got his ass beat end of the story Family first f**k all lat other s**t."

He later added: "N**ga popping shit and don't even what really happen but it's all good cuz."
