Emeli Sande is this year's MOBO success story, scooping three big awards at last night's Liverpool ceremony.
The chart topping star is bringing 2012 to a close in the same way she started - winning awards.
Sande was named British Breakthrough at the BRIT Awards in February 2012 - and last night scooped Best Female, Best R&B/Soul Act and Best Album for her debut release, Our Version Of Events.
The singer tweeted her excitement at her triple awards triupmh throughout the night, telling online fans of her excitement of meeting Dionne Warwick on the red carpet - who collected a Lifetime Achievement award and support for fellow UK star Labrinth - who won Best Song for his Tinie Tempah collaboration, 'Earthquake'' .
Sande and Labrinth currently hold the UK No.1 single with 'Beneath Your Beautiful'.
Sande kept fans updated through the evening of her triumphs
Other big winners at the 2012 MOBOs included Plan B - who scooped two awards. The Ill Manors star took home Best Hip-Hop/Grime award and Best Male Act.
Nicki Minaj won Best International Act and Rita Ora took home the award for Best Newcomer. Other winners included JLS, Labrinth and Sean Paul.
