The xx have created an interactive app for their album, Coexist, that fans can get on their phones.

The app is intended for their fans to gain a better experience while listening to the album, and according to the website, allows you to "immerse yourself" in Coexist.

Features include an "interactive version of the Coexist artwork which reacts to your touch, movement and environment", as well as visualiser videos for the tracks if you own them digitally, news and messages from the band and the ability to see all of the tour dates and buy tickets.

App users can also watch all of the The xx's official music videos, read their lyrics and access the band's online store "with exclusive official merchandise."

The free app is available both from the Apple App store and for Android phones.
