More about:

Robbie Williams is taking part in a meet and greet at HMV tonight, after turning on the Christmas lights at Oxford Street.

Robbie is turning on the Christmas lights as part of the launch of his new album, Take The Crown, and will be joined by both Leona Lewis and boyband Lawson - who will both also be performing at the event.

For the first time, the Christmas lights turn on is going to be ticketed, with tens of thousands expected to be attending.

Robbie previously spoke to Heart FM about looking forward to the event, telling the hosts, "Oxford Street is a fantastic place to do your Christmas shopping and it's great to be part of the celebrations.

I can’t believe I am turning on the lights! Take The Crown is released on the same day and I'm looking forward to performing for the amazing crowds."

Robbie Williams fans - already looking forward to the event.

Afterwards, the 'Candy' singer will be signing copies of Take The Crown at the Oxford Street HMV store.

Robbie will appear at the store at 7:30pm on 5 November, and the event is free - but limited to just 300 wristband holders. Wristbands will be available for collection during the day from the store and are limited to one wristband per person.

Fans are expected to arrive very early at the store to make sure they are first in line to collect wristbands.

Heart FM presenters Emma Bunton and Jamie Theakston will host the show tonight and the event takes place outside House Of Fraser on Oxford Street.
