Lady Gaga took to Twitter to post a link to an unreleased demo that the star recorded when she was 16.
The star posted a link to the song, entitled 'No Floods', in the hope that it would cheer up her fans who have been affected by Hurricane Sandy.
She wrote on Twitter, "i wrote this song when i was 16. so weird to hear it now because of hurricane. "NO FLOODS" hope this will cheer u up." She then added a link to a YouTube video of the song, which you can watch below.
The song has been available to hear online since 2009, but Gaga posted the track now following the devastation that Hurricane Sandy has wreaked on New York.
Hurricane Sandy has left some parts of New York and New Jersey still without power.
The singer has been continuously speaking about the disaster on her Twitter, as she grew up in New York and feels strong links to the city.
She followed up the tweet about the demo by adding, "i'll be there as soon as i can to help my old neighborhood. I'm on tour + can't let my fans down. I want to help with my hands with all of u."
Gaga had previously posted her thoughts on the East Coast, saying that she hopes they are "staying strong" and adding that she "can't even watch news feed."
