Singer Kye Sones, who was voted off this year's X Factor last weekend, has hit out at his former talent show rival Christopher Maloney, calling him an 'outsider' and saying he has no idea who is voting for him.

Kye, who left the show last weekend, took the oppportunity to slam Christopher and definitely didn't hold back with his comments.

Speaking to The Sun, Kye admitted that he thinks Christopher is completely fake and a different person when the cameras are on him. Christopher has been accused of this before, with a source saying previously that his fellow contestants believe that Christopher's nerves are 'over the top' and 'fake'.

But Kye was a lot more specific, saying, "All of us have got really close and then you've got Chris. We've been a really strong group and he's been an outsider - and that's nothing to do with any of us lot.

"He's very tactical. There are two different people - one when cameras are there and one when they're not there. Everyone is the same person off and on camera, apart from Chris - and that's why it's frustrating for all the contestants."

When asked how Christopher managed to stay out of the bottom two, Kye responded, "God knows. He must have an expensive phone bill!"

Kye had previously been asked by Yahoo OMG! why he thought Chris was still in the competition, and was even more forthright with his answer as he said, "F**k knows is my answer to that!"

He finished by adding, "I think Chris is the only person in the Overs that is a stereotypical Overs category contestant. This year I wanted to change the perception of the Overs and make it credible and cool and I think that's what Gary wanted as well.

"But it's not obviously working because people expect the Overs to sing old tunes and sing them in an old crooner way and it seems that this is why Chris is still there."

X Factor fix? We count down this year's top X Factor rumours

  • Was the elimination of Carolynne a fix? The choice was between character Rylan or Carolynne, one of the strongest (albeit boring) singers in the competition. Carolynne went home as she had not received as many votes as Rylan. Many have speculated that it was a fix, with a producer seen whispering to Louis Walsh - who was responsible for the 'deadlock' that saw Carolynne leave the show.

  • Favourite to win, Ella Henderson, and Union J's newest member George Shelley are apparently having an X Factor romance - or so claims The Sun. The teenagers have apparently been flirting outrageously for weeks, and even got dared to 'snog' each other by the other contestants.

  • Simon Cowell has apparently had enough of the current judges line-up that includes Gary Barlow, Tulisa, Nicole and Louis. It is rumoured that if the X Factor is to continue next year, that he wants Cheryl Cole and Will I Am on the panel instead . An insider from the show told the Mirror, "We need to do something dramatic and this would be a coup, it would give us the best judging line-up in X Factor history."

  • Judge Tulisa has repeatedly been spotted in 'similar' oufits and with 'similar' makeup to contestant Rylan, so apparently he is now her style guru reports most of the tabloid press.

  • Barlow has vowed to 'get Simon back' when he releases his autobiography, reports The Sun. "Wait until my book comes out! It will be bloody beautiful. I'll get the lot of them." This comes after Gary was blasted in Tom Bower's book, in which Simon had said that Gary was "too scripted" and should be sacked.

  • Nicole Scherzinger admitted she didn't want to move to England in an astonishing rant moments before boarding the plane to London, reports The Sun. The judge was overheard shouting down the phone at New York's JFK airport a week before she came to London. You know where the door is love...

  • One Direction are apparently 'desperate' to come and perform on the X Factor stage once more, having already performed on the first of the live finals on 6 October 2012.

  • Neyo has apparently stuck up for Rylan, claiming that, "Rylan will sell records" and that he may even write a song for him in the future. This has a lot more to do with the fact that Neyo and Rylan's mentor Nicole are friends, than anything to do with Rylan.

  • Shy Kye Sones is said to be happy for Rylan Clark to have the biggest budget spent on his set and is happy to continue with his low key performances. Rylan performed 'Gold' by Spandau ballet, with an ornate gold, Egyptian theme.

  • Professor Green was outraged when he was repeatedly tweeted that he looked like X Factor contestant James Arthur. He took to Twitter to express his annoyance, "You can all f*** off and die slowly the yout does not look like me." He does look like you though Pro Green, sorry...
