VH1 are set to break tradition with their Divas show in December with this year, with Adam Lambert set to join an all-female line-up on the annual TV event.
VH1 Divas will be live from LA on 16 December, taking place at the Shrine Auditorium, and a spokesperson for the star's UK press office has hinted that Lambert will join the female stars on stage for a performance - as well as hosting the event.
According to E!, the headline performers will be Ciara, Miley Cyrus, Demi Lovato, Kelly Rowland and Jordin Sparks - not the first names that come to mind when we think of 'divas', especially as previous performers have been Aretha Franklin, Tina Turner, Celine Dion and Diana Ross.
However, this year's show will also include special tributes to Whitney Houston and Donna Summer.
In a statement, Adam said, "I'm so thrilled to be hosting VH1 Divas this year... I have a feeling it's going to be the most fabulous concert of the year!
"And LIVE!! Get ready for some amazing performances, killer fashion and fierce divas!"
Speaking of divas - Adam Lambert and Paris Hilton at New York Fashion Week.
Lambert won't be singing at the show, but it was rumoured previously that Adam has insured his voice for £30 million, more than either Bruce Springsteen or Rod Stewart.
A source told The Daily Mirror: "Insurance for stars is a big deal in the US and Adam's voice is his bacon."
The decision was apparently undertaken by Lambert's management, and is a huge amount to spend on insurance of vocal chords.
