Alexandra Burke has been drafted in by The X Factor USA to record a cover version of Bond theme 'Live And Let Die' for the American version of the talent show.
Simon Cowell wanted a version of the Paul McCartney classic to be played during the live shows when the judges take the stage - and thought that Alexandra was the one for the job.
The song was premiered on Tuesday night, and Alexandra has said that she was excited to be asked.
The former UK X Factor winner said, "I was so excited when Simon asked me to record a new version of Live And Let Die to use on the X Factor USA.
“It has always been one of the greatest Bond themes ever. And what a perfect time to re-record it as we celebrate the 50th anniversary of Bond films," reports The Sun newspaper.

The 50th anniversary of Bond fillms has led to a lot of renewed interest in the theme songs, with a mini-mix of all the songs being released - although Alexandra's cover isn't included.
Each individual film also boasts a great title track - no easy legacy to make, after all. That's twenty two separate songs - not counting 'Dr. No', which became the James Bond theme itself - and not one dud amongst them.
From 'Live and Let Die' to 'The World Is Not Enough', and now with Adele's addition of 'Skyfall', the legacy continues to gain acclaim.
