Lucy Spraggan has overcome the flu illness that cost her a place on The X Factor 2012 and is back to business, recently recording an acoustic session - and the show's James Arthur has done the same.

Former X Factor contestant Spraggan took to Ont' Sofa to perform an acoustic mash-up of songs. Beginning with Labrinth's 'Earthquake', the nearly three minute long performance also included Rihanna's 'We Found Love', Gotye's 'Somebody That I Used To Know', Alexandra Stan's 'Mr Saxobeat', Jessie J's 'Do It Like A Dude' and Flo Rida's 'Low'.

Performing them in her trademark style, the video has already racked up nearly 500,000 views on YouTube with comments from fans insisting that Spraggan will still manage to go far.

Not to be outdone, current contestant James Arthur joined sb.tv for a similarly acoustic performance of an original song titled 'Faded'.

With lyrics including 'I'm immaterial but I still got things on a wishlist / this is desire, can't you hear it in my C+ English', James Arthur manages to impress.
