Rolling Stones star Ronnie Wood has revealed that the band feel no guilt about charging fans up to £950 for a ticket to see their upcoming London shows.

Speaking to The Telegraph about the upcoming London shows, the Rolling Stones guitarist defended ticket prices, saying: "We've got to make something."

The tickets started at £95, costing £106 including the booking fee, and went up to £950 for a VIP package - leaving many fans in uproar at the expensive prices.

However, Wood told The Telegraph, "We've already spent a million on rehearsing in Paris. And the stage is going to be another few million. And the lights.

"We feel no bad thing about ticket prices. We've got to make something."

Keith Richards previously said he didn't see a problem with the price tag either, saying that he thought they were "about right" - although he seemingly contradicted himself by adding, "I just wanna do some shows and I don't want to charge over the bloody top."

Fans are left unimpressed by the decision, and their spirits haven't been lifted by the latest new track from the band, either.

The Rolling Stones premiered new track 'One More Shot' online yesterday - and met some fierce criticism from fans as the track received a mixed response from listeners. The track followed recent release 'Doom & Gloom' and is taken from the band's new greatest hits album, GRRR, which is released next week.

Many fans expressed their dislike for the track on YouTube - Ammego wrote, "This is totally uninspired and forgettable. Doom and Gloom is much better," and fellow YouTube user Rob Mendell agreed.

"Typical boring unoriginal sh*t from The Stones," he wrote.

Another fan branded the track as 'lame' while Auricfield said: "Surely there was something better than this lying around in the vaults."
