Foals performed on Later... With Jools Holland last night (13 November) and took the opportunity to play a brand new track. Watch it below.
The band played as yet unreleased song, 'My Number', which is believed to be from their upcoming album Holy Fire.
Foals spoke to NME about 'My Number' earlier this year, citing it as having more of a funk influence. They said, "There's a track called 'My Number' that had a Curtis Mayfield groove which was pretty unashamedly funk, for want of a better word."
The band also spoke about Holy Fire, adding, "There are some heavier moments and some dirtier moments. It's swampy, some of the grooves are quite stinky."

Foals recently announced a live tour for UK and Ireland to take place in 2013. The ten date tour will see the band start in Dublin on 28 February and take in Manchester, Liverpool and Bristol - amongst others - before finishing in Portsmouth on 13 March.
They will then play a date at London's Royal Albert Hall on 28 March as part of the Albert Sessions - which means that Foals will also be taking part in some Royal Albert Hall Initiatives.
These include a music workshop with London teenagers, as well as a press conference for young journalists and a Q&A careers session with Peter Mensch from Q Prime management, which will offer students a unique opportunity to present their questions to one of the biggest names in music management.
