Muse could soon be following in the footsteps of The Killers' frontman Brandon Flowers - by becoming Mormon.
The band received a gift from a fan which included a copy of the Mormons' sacred text, the Book of Mormon, and a handwritten note. Brandon Flowers, frontman of The Killers, recently said that he wanted to record a 'huge' duet with Muse - so could this be the first step to making that happen?
Muse took to Twitter to share a photo of the bizarre gift, writing, "Weird fan gift!"
The note read, "This book changed my life, I give it to you with all my heart..." It also said, "My email," but a band member had covered the email address with their finger.
Fan reactions ranged from "What the f**k?" to "that's kinda sweet I think" with user PlugInMartin commenting, "guess Brandon Flowers is serious about his dream of a Muse/The Killers collaboration."

Bellamy has spoken about his lack of religion in interviews - although never calling himself an atheist. He said at an interview at Pinkpop festival in 2004 that he didn't have a problem with religion, he just didn't have one.
Bellamy added that his dedication to music might serve as a replacement to religion.
Interestingly, the Muse frontman has said previously that a gift of the Holy Bible was one of the weirdest things given to him by a fan. Maybe he can now add the Book of Mormon to the collection.
