Last night saw Rihanna's ambitious 777 tour hit Toronto for an intimate show at the Danforth Music Hall.
The tour, which comprises seven gigs in seven days in seven different countries, kicked off on Wednesday with a performance in Mexico City to just 2000 fans.
While that sounds like a sizeable crowd, the R&B star is used to performing to audiences of tens of thousands. Last night's show at the Danforth Music Hall had a capacity of just 1400, making it an even more intimate showcase.
Tonight the starlet heads to Stockholm, Sweden, for the third night of the tour, before heading on to Paris, Berlin, London and New York, where she will launch her seventh album 'Unapologetic'.
Rihanna and a group of select individuals, including 150 journalists, are travelling between the shows on a specially hired Boeing Jet.
Before leaving for the tour Rihanna told press: "We'll transform this jumbo jet into a tour bus.
"We're practically living on this thing for a week: sleeping, partying, all together.
"I wanted it to be a rock 'n' roll adventure and I think when it's over it will be the coolest thing I've ever done."

The 'Diamonds' singer was two hours late showing up for the first night of the tour in Mexico City, but fans seemed unperturbed and where elated when she arrived and treated them to classics like 'Umbrella' and 'What's My Name', as well as showcasing tracks from the new album.
The venues for each date of the tour aren't announced until the day of the show, and only a select few are offered the privilege of attending.
