Visitors to London's Turner Prize exhibition at The Tate in London have revealed their unlikely support for X Factor finalist Rylan Clark, with a message of support appearing on the gallery's comments wall backing the Essex singer.

Among messages posted by viewers at the gallery showing overwhelming support for artist Paul Noble at the annual art prize in London, one bored visitor took the opportunity to reveal their love for Clark. In a simple message written on the comments wall, a visitor had written: "Rylan 4 X Factor winner 2012."

Further comments on the Turner Prize comments wall name pencil artist Noble as visitors favourite to win the 2012 prize, with a general sense of disappointment at film selections from Elizabeth Price and Luke Fowler. The fourth and final entrant is an interactive theatre piece by Spartacus Chetwynd.

Rylan Clark also has the support of the wider British public, as he easily retained his spot in the talent show final this weekend. The show was rocked when former favourite Ella Henderson was eliminated on Sunday (18 November, 2012) after showdown with James Arthur.

Clark now progresses to next weekend's show alonside Arthur, Union J, Christopher Maloney and Jahmene Douglas as the show approaches its all-male final.
