Winona Ryder has filmed scenes for the new Killers video, shot in Blackpool under the direction of Tim Burton.
Ryder and The Killers have Burton in common, as the band previously directed the video for their single 'Bones' while Ryder has starred in Burton classics like Beetlejuice and Edward Scissorhands.
Fans are now eagerly awaiting news of the next single and role the Ryder will play in the video, but it is thought that Burton took the actress to the seaside resort's Tower Ballroom to shoot her scenes.
The Killers have already released two singles from their Battle Born album - 'Runaways' and 'Miss Atomic Bomb'.
In 2006 The Killers recruited Burton to create the video for their single Bones, taken from their second album Sam's Town.
The video saw the band and actors Michael Steger and Devon Aoki turn to skeletal figures in typical Burton-esque fashion against the backdrop of an omnious coastline.
The video went on to win Best Video at the Shockwaves NME awards in 2007.
Brandon Flowers on stage with The Killers in London
The Killers were recently forced to cancel two shows at Manchester's MEN Arena after singer Brandon Flowers contracted a viral infection that meant he wasn't able to sing.
The two shows have now been trescheduled for February next year.
Fans of the band may be cheered still further by the recent news that Brandon Flowers is interested in putting together a huge collaboration with fellow stadium rockers Muse, who they have become good friends with.
