Jon Bon Jovi's eldest child, Stephanie Rose, has recently been in the press following a suspected overdose.
The rockstar's daughter had all charges against her dropped, however, thanks to a recently introduced New York law which prohibits anyone being prosecuted for trying to help someone suffering a life threatening overdose.
Bon Jovi spoke about the ordeal for the first time today, saying that his own experiences with drugs will help his family deal with it and thanking fans for their support and well wishes.
But this is far from the first time a musician has experienced a hand-in-hands moment courtesy of their offspring.
From the casual narcotic fuelled drive down the wrong side of a freeway, to misguided anti-capitalist protests, the children of musicians have a bit of a knack for making a nuissance of themselves.
