One of the most influential independent record labels across the UK & Europe is celebrating its 30th birthday by re-issuing classic albums on vinyl.
Vinyl records from pioneering artists such as Young Gods, Soulwax, Crystal Castles and Mogwai to name just a few will be released and downloads will be available from iTunes at a special price for a limited time only.
The company originated in Brussels 30 years ago when a 19-year-old student Kenny Gates and his friend Michel Lambot began importing and distributing indie records from the UK to Belguim. Today the London based company plays home to two other labels, Play It Again Sam and Different Recordings.
PIAS Recordings Managing Director, Pete Thompson said: It's great to be able to celebrate our achievements over the past 30 years, but we're also looking forward to 2013."
