Blur star Graham Coxon gave a rather blunt answer to a fan who had asked if the band have any plans for a new record for 2013.
Coxon was asked: "Is there a new Blur album coming out? If so, when?" To the disappointment of his 82,000 followers on the social network, Coxon simply replied: "No."
Blur, who's other members include Damon Albarn, Alex James and Dave Rowntree, played a huge show in London's Hyde Park earlier in the year as well as releasing new material which many had hoped could lead to them four-piece releasing more music next year.
The group also have confirmed a number of European tour dates for 2013, further sparking rumours that they could be contemplating another album, but although there has been no definitive confirmation, Coxon has thrown water on the Blur comeback fire.

Coxon is still keeping himself busy, writing a song for the popular Channel 4 comedy, Fresh Meat. The Blur legend agreed to write the song when he found out that Fresh Meat and Inbetweeners actor, Joe Thomas, was a huge fan of the band.
