Beyonce Knowles has joined forces with the huge television network HBO to produce an access all areas look into the former Destiny's Child singer's life.
Speaking on why she chose to work with HBO, the 'Single Ladies' hitmaker said: "HBO has a history of pushing every boundary with class and authenticity.
"Some of my favourite shows are on HBO, so I am excited that my film will be part of its bold programming. This film was so personal to me, it had to have the right home."
Beyonce has put her hand directing music videos in the past, but is a novice when it comes to feature-length films.

Michael Lombardo, HBO president of programming believes there is some amazing content in the forthcoming film. He said: "Along with electrifying footage of Beyoncé onstage, this unique special looks beyond the glamour to reveal a vibrant, vulnerable, unforgettable woman."
The documentary is due to air on February 16, just 13 days after her 2013 Super Bowl half-time performance.
