Bradford Cox is set to play Jared Leto's lover in the upcoming drama The Buyer's Club.
The Deerhunter/Atlas Sound frontman is to star alongside Leto, who plays a cross-dresser dying of AIDS. Cox is to act as Leto's lover, but no more is known yet about his character.
The film is set in the 80s and based on a true story, and also stars Jennifer Garner and Matthew McConaughey as the main focus of the movie.
McConaughey plays Ron Woodruff, who was diagnosed with AIDS in the 80s and given only months to live.
He began to experiment with non-FDA-approved drugs and found that they extended his life, so started smuggling them into the US to help other AIDS sufferers.
Jared Leto, looking really odd without any eyebrows
Jared recently spoke at the Gotham Awards about the role, mentioning that he had to wax his entire body to play the role of someone diagnosed with AIDS - including his eyebrows.
He said, “I waxed my body and my entire eyebrows too. Feel if you want, nice and smooth.
"I just immersed myself in their culture and the people and I hope I can represent them as honorably as possible.”
