The recently rekindled romance between Rihanna and Chris Brown is set to step to the next level, with rumours that the 'Diamonds' star will fly Brown to Barbados to spend New Year's Eve close to her family home.
Rihanna is said to have booked a five-star villa in her homeland for what The Sun newspaper is calling a 'bonding holiday'. The newspaper also reports she is planning to fly Brown's mum out to the tropical resort to join the controversial pair as they welcome in 2013.
Rihanna will be staying close to her family, and her dad has previously spoken of his approval for Brown, saying he 'loves' Brown for the respect he has shown him in the past.
"The more the public criticise Rihanna for getting back with Chris, the more determined she is to do whatever she wants," says a source to The Sun newspaper. “While no one else can understand it, she’s convinced that Chris is the love of her life and her soulmate and that they’re simply meant to be together."
"She’s booked him and his mum into a five-star villa in Barbados over New Year so they can all get some downtime with her family."

The duo were recently spotted together at an afterparty in Berlin, celebrating after Brown performed in the German city on his Carpe Diem tour. Rihanna also tweeted a topless photo of Brown, hinting that the duo were far from just friends and that their relationship was still on.
Brown this week deleted his Twitter account after sending a string of offensive tweets at US comic Jenny Johnson.
Brown posted a photo of himself on Twitter with the caption, "I look old as f**k! I'm only 23..." which Johnson replied to saying, "I know! Being a worthless piece of s**t can really age a person."
Brown responded to Johnson with the tweet, "Take them teeth out when u Sucking my d**k HOE," to which Johnson said, "It's 'HO' not 'HOE' you ignorant f**k."
The argument continued with Brown then writing, "I should fart while ur giving me top." Johnson replied simply, "Your mom must be so proud of you," to which Brown said, "Mom says hello... She told me not to shart in ur mouth, wanted me to s**t right on the retina."
Johnson then said, "YOU FLIRT!!!" before informing her Twitter followers, "Okay. I'm done. All I got from that exchange with Chris Brown is that he wants to s**t and fart on me."
She added, "I have zero respect for a person who seems unapologetic for the terrible crime he committed and shows no signs of changing."
