Gary Barlow has revealed he is uncertain of his X Factor future should show boss Simon Cowell return to the show, as has been previously rumoured.
There are rumours that this is Barlow's last year as a judge as it is, and the return of Simon Cowell would make it even more likely to be true.
Speaking to the Daily Record, Barlow said, "Could I judge alongside Simon Cowell if he came back? Hmm, I don't know.
"I have enjoyed this series more than last year, but the show feels like it has been going on for a year this time. If this is my last year, I've had a lot of fun and enjoyed every minute."
Cowell has also made his feelings on Barlow clear - a Simon Cowell-approved biography was written about the music mogul last year, in which Barlow was labelled 'wooden'.
However, Barlow hasn't given up on the X Factor this year - and is still supporting Christopher Maloney to win, despite rumours that this is Cowell's worst fear.
He said, "I'm standing by my man. Chris is doing great. Right now, I just need to get him through the semi-finals - that’s what I'm most excited about. I know he can go all the way."

Most recent X Factor reject, Rylan Clark, also seems to be supporting Maloney as this year's winner, despite the two apparently not getting along while on the show.
He told ITV1's Daybreak, "I think Chris Maloney might take it, he's got such a great following."
Clark added, "Do you know what though, I've got to say I would love to see a duet with Christopher Maloney and Jane McDonald.
"I think it would be immense. Get Jane McDonald in that final."
