Chris Martin is 'fired up' for the future of Coldplay as the 'Every Teardrop Is A Waterfall' hitmakers have already begun putting tracks together for a follow-up to last year's 'Mylo Xyloto'.
The group have enjoyed a fantastic 2012 so far including performances at the closing ceremony of the London Olympics as well as hit song 'Paradise' being chosen as the soundtrack for this year's London Paralympics.
There were rumours that Coldplay were planning a three-year break after Martin had said ontsage in Australia that 'we might not be back here for three years.'
Martin, however, was keen to express that the band have no intentions of stopping anytime soon. He told the Daily Star: ''I'm fortunate to do what I do and no way do I want to stop. This three-year break idea only came about because I said at a gig in Australia that we might not be back there for three years."
He continued: "That's probably true, but that's just how a world tour works. No chance are we taking a three-year break."

Martin also revealed that they are not carrying on for their own financial gains. The group, which includes Guy Berryman, Jonny Buckland and Will Champion support children's charity, Kids Company, and plan to work hard, enabling them to donate more money.
Martin said: "If we don't work hard we make less money to give Kids Company. We're very spoiled and that's a constant motivator to keep going. Our work with the charity is ongoing."
