Justin Bieber fans hurled mobile phone at the Canadian singer during his Madison Square Garden gig this week. See a video of the incident below.

However, this wasn't an act of aggression from his 'Beliebers', they were instead hoping the singer would take a photo of himself on the phone and hand it back - which he did with the first to throw her phone on the stage. The singer took a number of photos of himself on the phone and then handed it back to the owner. After fans threw more phones on the stage, he then promised he would 'never' repeat the stunt again.

The singer performed at the Madison Square Garden show alongside fellow Canadian star Carly Rae Jepsen and British boyband The Wanted, who have enjoyed huge success in America in 2012.

Earlier this week a clip from a new episode of Family Guy showed Bieber being beaten up by the show's animated star Peter Griffin after being caught wife his wife Lois.

Bieber cameos in a new episode of the hugely popular animation and is caught in his dressing room with Lois Griffin, who is seen urging the teen singer to take his pants off. Furious at Bieber, Griffin yells: "Step away from my wife you acorn penis beauty," as he confronts an animated version of the 'Boyfriend' superstar.
