Just what we all needed - another Pussycat Doll looking for solo success in the UK. Following her second placing on this year's I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here, Ashley Roberts is being tipped as the 'new Nicole Scherzinger'.
She may have been covered in insects and forced to eat unmentionable animal parts during her stint on the reality show buy hey, it could have been worse - at least she didn't have spend every Saturday night of 2012 sat between Tulisa and Louis Walsh.
The blonde, former Pussycat Doll lost out to ex-Eastender Charlie Brooks on the bug-munching ITV show but is now tipped to launch a UK TV career after proving hugely popular with the UK public. She is so determined to follow in the footsteps of her Pussycat Dolls ex-bandmate Nicole Scherzinger that she is said to have her mind set on a role on The X Factor.
"Ashley would love to move to the UK and make a career there, and I think that’ll be her next move," said her friend Bobby Newberry, reports The Mirror. "She’s on a path ...she would love to do television presenting. She just missed out on a job at the X Factor USA, hosting the show and I know she was very keen to do that. If she got the opportunity to work on the UK show, she would do that in a heartbeat."

A source also tells the newspaper that Roberts has already been offered plenty of TV work since her appearance on the show.
"Her representatives have been inundated with offers of work and she could become a household name in Britain now she has stepped out of the shadow of Nicole and the rest of the Pussycat Dolls," said a tabloid source. "X Factor would be her dream gig, but if she couldn’t make it on to the main show, she would be perfect for the Xtra Factor on ITV2."
A number of former Pussycat Dolls have enjoyed UK success, with Scherzinger scoring a No.1 single with her track 'Don't Hold Your Breath' and Kimberly Wyatt appearing as a judge on Got To Dance and releasing music under the guise of Her Majesty And The Wolves.
