Lucy Spraggan has revealed that she plans to release her debut album as early as next spring and will use her reality show experience to write new material for the record.
The 'Tea & Toast' songwriter, who had to leave this year's The X Factor after falling ill, has allegedly got around 200 songs to choose from for debut album.
Spraggan told The Sun: "“The plan is to write an album and have it released by spring, around March time."
She added: “I’ve already got about 200 songs written up and ready to go, although obviously not all of those will make it. I haven’t written about X Factor yet but I always write about my experiences, so I’m sure that I will.”
The singer has already built up a huge fanbase with her unique style and comical lyrics, but admits there is no record deal as yet. She continued: “I haven’t got a record deal yet, but hopefully I will in the next few months.”

During her time on The X Factor, Spraggan hit the headlines on several occasions for her drunken exploits with X Factor pal, Rylan Clark. Their troublesome behaviour even saw the pair evicted from The X Factor house.
It seems all has been forgiven, however, as Spraggan will be performing on this year's final show on Saturday night, which will be contested by James Arthur, Christopher Maloney and Jahmene Douglas.
