Amy Winehouse's Camden house went under the hammer at auction yesterday - and sold for nearly £2 million.
The house was originally put onto the market, but had to be taken off as there were too many 'nosy timewasters'.
Instead, her home was put up for auction - and sold yesterday (3 December 2012). The house went for £1.98 million and was bought by a couple in their 40s.
Mitch Winehouse, Amy's father, said, "We are sad to see it go."
The house had a guide price of £1.8 million, and was not advertised at auction as belonging to the former star.
It was the same house in which she was found dead fifteen months ago, surrounded by vodka bottles.

Last month, according to the London Evening Standard, a source close to the family said, "Because of the nature of the house there were quite a few offers from people who weren't in a position to buy.
"There were lots of nosey timewasters and no progress was being made, so they felt an auction would be the simplest way of selling the house.
"The auction will vet bidders and only allow people in who are in a position to buy."
